Prachanda-Nepal faction decides to intensify Kathmandu-centric protest

KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to further intensify Kathmandu-centric protest against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Leader Surendra Pandey said that the Standing Committee meeting held at the party’s central office in Perisdanda on Thursday decided to intensify protests in Capital City.

Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal said that further discussions were being held to move the protest forward and the format of the protest program.

The meeting will be held again at 11 pm on Friday.
