KATHMANDU: Remittance inflow has increased by 10.9 percent in the first five months of the current fiscal year.

The report on the current economic and financial situation of the country for the first five months of the current year made public by Nepal Rastra Bank shows that the number of Nepalis seeking final labor approval for foreign employment has decreased by 77.9 percent but remittance has increased.

According to the report, remittance increased by 10.9 percent to Rs 416.81 billion.
