Qatar to inoculate citizens against COVID-19 free of cost



DOHA: Qatar is set to inoculate all the people living in the country against the COVID-19 free of cost.

All the people including those who have no health cards and medical insurance have been asked to register their names to this effect.

According to vaccination head Dr. Soha Al Bayat of the Ministry of Public Health, she has urged even those without health cards to register their names at the designated health centers.

All the citizens of Qatar have been encouraged to take the COVID-19 vaccine which has proven to be effective against the coronavirus, Peninsula Online quoted Dr Al Bayat as saying.

The Qatar government has said it will provide COVID-19 vaccine to all the citizens including immigrants in free of cost in 2021.
