America’s COVID-19 cases cross 23.5 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 23,597,138 in the United States of America after 219,446 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,232,195 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 13,971,321 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 393,622 with 3,792 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 1,985,096 and infected 92,728,293 globally until the filing of this news.
