Journalists misbehaved at NC General Convention; photojournalists put down cameras



KATHMANDU: Photojournalists covering the General Convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) have protested by putting their cameras on the ground at the convention venue after police and election committee members misbehaved with them.

Police and members of the election committee stopped the journalists who were taking photos of the polling which was delayed for three and a half hours.

Police even harassed some photojournalists.

The journalists have protested after they were not allowed to enter the voting booths.

Security personnel did not allow the photojournalists and pushed them back as they were walking towards the booth to take photos of the ongoing polls.
