NC holding ward conventions in Kailali from today



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has started holding ward conventions in 13 districts mired in active membership row.

The ward convention is taking place in all 126 wards of Kailali district, informed NC Kailali district Party President Narnarayan Shah.

Election officers have been deployed in all the wards to conduct conventions, according to Shah.

If things go as planned, the final name-list of ward conventions will be unveiled on November 14 and village/municipal conventions will be held on November 16.

There are a total of 18,273 active members in Kailali.
