PM Deuba trying to capture party by abusing authority: NC senior leader Poudel

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has accused party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba of trying to capture the party by abusing his power and authority.

Senior leader Poudel even warned that some ward conventions held by President Deuba by abusing his power and authority will be invalid.

Speaking at a program organized by the Nepali Congress District Working Committee Sindhupalchowk in Kathmandu Monday, he expressed fury over Deuba for what he said “sidelining” party leaders and cadres.

Poudel also urged the party leaders and cadres to move ahead by changing the leadership at the party’s upcoming general convention.

He also accused PM Deuba of rigging the party’s active membership across the country.
