Nepal playing against US in ICC Men’s World Cup League 2



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on the United States in a game under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2 today. Meanwhile, USA has won the toss and elected to bat first.

The game is scheduled to take place at 4:15 pm (Nepal time) at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman.

Seven countries– Nepal, Oman, Scotland, Namibia, the US, Papua New Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates—have participated in the tournament. The top three teams will automatically qualify for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup to be held in India in 2023.

In the match, Nepal placed in the sixth position has got four points while Oman tops the group with 16 points.

Likewise, the US is placed in the second position with 12 points followed by Scotland in the third position with nine points, and Namibia in the fourth position with eight points.

UAE is in fifth place with seven points and Papua New Guinea has got nil points.
