Triangular ODI series: Nepal taking on America today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on America in its first triangular One Day International (ODI) series today.

The match will take place at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium at 4:15 pm today.

It is not easy for Nepal to defeat America as it is a strong team. Captain Gyanendra Malla has said to secure win against America will be tough a job this time.

“America is a strong team. There are new strong players. They have performed very well against Papua New Guinea (PNG). To secure win against America will be a tough job this time,” said Malla.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated America twice in the matches held in home cricket ground in TU Cricket Ground under League 2.

It had defeated America by eight wickets in the match held on February 2, 2020 and on February 8 by 35 wickets.

The situation has now changed, said Captain Malla.
