Schools in Dang to open with physical presence of students

DANG: Schools in Dang are operating with physical attendance of students from today. The District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC) approved the permission sought by the local level for the operation of the school.

A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee on Sunday decided to run the school at the local level from Monday in coordination with the District Administration Office under the Smart Lockdown procedure, said Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang.

Municipalities of the district including Ghorahi sub-metropolis, Tulsipur sub-metropolis, Lamahi municipality and Rapti rural municipality have already started operating schools.

“We had asked the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee for permission to run the school. We have received the permission. We would like to inform that the school will come into operation by following health protocols’, said Rabindra Chhetri, Chief of Education Branch of Lamahi Municipality.”

Community and institutional schools will remain open in Ghorahi sub-metropolis from Monday in the physical presence of students.
