Nepal records 3,915 new COVID-19 cases, 27 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley records 1,089 new cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,915 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the 11,708 people who underwent tests through the RT-PCR method, 2,763 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while 1,152 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 27 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,089 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

Of them, 799 were detected in Kathmandu, 163 in Bhaktapur and 128 in Lalitpur districts.

Meanwhile, 2,118 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
