UML taskforce advises Nepal not to prolong intra-party feud



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Dispute Resolution Taskforce has advised senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal not to prolong the intra-party dispute stating that unnecessary wrangling will take the party nowhere.

Taskforce members Subas Nembang, Bhim Rawal and Bishnu Paudel met with Nepal at his residence in Koteshwor this morning and urged the latter to end the dispute through dialogues for the party unity.

“We urged comrade Nepal to immediately break the silence with party chair KP Sharma Oli through dialogues,” said Nembang, adding, “The prolongation of the dispute now will lead nowhere but to division of the party.”

The taskforce had prepared the consensus draft on Sunday midnight and submitted it to party chair Oli on Monday

The taskforce members had reached Nepal’s residence to discuss the consensus draft this morning.
