NC office bearers’ meeting postponed after President Deuba got busy in cabinet formation



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) office bearers’ meeting formerly called for 2 PM Tuesday has been postponed citing party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s hectic schedule for cabinet formation.

According to NC office Chief Secretary Krishna Poudel the meeting is postponed till Thursday.

After the SC’s Monday verdict asking President’s office to appoint NC President Deuba as Prime Minister within two days, Deuba is currently busy discussing the formation of the Council of Ministers.

Deuba is busy in internal discussions and discussion with CPN-Maoist Center and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) to finalize the process of forming the government.

He is taking oath as the Prime Minister today.
