Nepal records 2,407 new COVID-19 cases, 46 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 653 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,407 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,694 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 713 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 483 persons in Kathmandu, 112 in Lalitpur, and 58 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 653 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 46 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3,994persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
