NEPSE increases by 38.32 points, sets record in transaction



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 38.32 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

A total of 37.07 million shares of 220 companies traded 1,82,430 times today resulting in a turnover of Rs 19.55 billion.

The share price of 104 companies increased while the share price of 74 companies decreased. The value of the 4 companies has remained stable.

Arun Valley Hydropower has had the highest turnover so far. The company traded shares worth Rs. 72.29 million today, the first trading day of the week.

Shares of 44 companies increased by more than 9 percent on Sunday. Today, investors in Nepal Insurance have lost the most by 4.15 percent following United IDI Mardi’s shrunk by  2.83 percent.
