Security body chiefs brief Home Minister on security situation

KATHMANDU: Security officials have briefed Home Minister Khagaraj Adhikari about the security situation in the country.

The chiefs of security organs apprised the Home Minister at a meeting of the National Security Council held at the Home Ministry on Sunday.

According to Home Ministry spokesperson Janak Raj Dahal, this is a regular meeting.

The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane, Lieutenant General of Nepali Army Prabhuram Sharma, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri and Inspector General of Armed Police Shailendra Khanal.
