Indian Army calls for applications for female military police, including Nepalis



KATHMANDU: The Indian Army has issued a notification calling applications from women to join the country’s women military police.

Interested women can apply through its website joinindianarmy.nic.in within July 20, according to Indian media reports.

The applicants will be eligible for the vacancy only after registering on the official website and the selected candidates will only be allotted to venue based on their home districts.

The recruitment rallies will be conducted at Lucknow, Ambala, Belgaum, Jabalpur, Pune, and Shillong.

According to the notification, a woman must have completed 17 years of age and not reached 21 years of age, and should be unmarried.

In the case of martyr’s family, the age limit has been fixed at 30 years.

It has been mentioned that one should have passed Grade Ten and brought 33 percent marks and 45 percent marks in each subject.

A written test will also be taken as entrance test.
