Meeting of NSC underway at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) is underway at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar.

The meeting chaired by Home Minister Khagaraj Adhikari is discussing the country’s overall security situation, sources have said.

Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane, Lieutenant General of Nepali Army Prabhuram Sharma, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri and Inspector General of Armed Police Shailendra Khanal are participating in the meeting.

Chief Investigation Director Ganesh Prasad Adhikari and Home Ministry spokesperson Janak Raj Dahal are also present at the meeting.
