Banke records five new COVID-19 deaths

NEPALGUNJ: Five people have succumbed to coronavirus in Banke district in the last 12 hours.

According to Tej Bahadur Wali, focal person of District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, five COVID-19 infected people of Banke, Bardiya, Dang, Salyan, and Baitadi have died.

A 55-year-old man of Baitadi Purchaidi Municipality-8 died while undergoing treatment at the Bheri Hospital.

Likewise, a 49-year-old woman succumbed to coronavirus at the Bheri Hospital.

Similarly, a 46-year-old man of Salyan Kalimati died in the same hospital.

Likewise, a 67-year-old man of Banke Baijnath-5 died while undergoing treatment at the Kohalpur Medical College.

A 32-year-old woman of Dang Lamahi Municipality-1 succumbed to coronavirus while undergoing treatment at the Bheri Hospital in the district.
