One killed, three injured in Udayapur jeep accident



UDAYAPUR: A man died on the spot when a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Pokharidanda in Tapli-4 of Udayapur district.

Three passengers have been seriously injured in the accident.

According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, one of the four passengers of the jeep (Ba 18 Cha 1567) coming from Lahan at around 8 pm last night.

The deceased has been identified as Indra Bahadur BK, 60, of Dudhauli Municipality-10, Sindhuli.

Likewise, the injured have been identified as Dek Narayan Shrestha, 35, of Katari Municipality-10, Jhagar Bahadur Sarki, 30, of Tapli-4, and Dambar Bahadur Tamang, 26, of Tapli-4, according to the District Police Office, Udayapur.

Chief of the District Police Office, Udayapur, Bhim Prasad Dahal said that the Bolero jeep fell some 200 meters from the road after losing control.
