Nepal records 8,960 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 3,562 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 8,960 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 2,733 persons in Kathmandu, 481 in Lalitpur, and 348 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 3,562 in past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 5,055 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.

Likewise, The Ministry shared that 214 new fatalities were added to the existing death toll from the coronavirus infection.

With the adjustment, the COVID-19 fatalities caseload has reached 4,466.
