MoHP directs private hospitals to install oxygen plant within 15 days



KATHMANDU: The government has directed all private hospitals having at least 100 beds to install oxygen plants within 15 days.

The Ministry of Health and Population issued a public notice on Thursday calling for the installation of a mandatory oxygen plant at hospitals.

Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry Samir Kumar Adhikari asked to inform the ministry by installing the oxygen plant within 15 days.

The demand for oxygen to the COVID-19 infected person is increasing day by day and the supply process is becoming more complicated day by day.

The hospital has stated that all the customs duty charged for the oxygen plant will be waived.
