COVID-19: India records new 362,406 cases, 4,126 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 362,406 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 23,702,832.

Currently, 3,716,045 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 19,728,436 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 258,300-mark.

With 4,126 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 258,351, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,344,497 and infected 161,065,862 globally until the filing of this news.
