America’s COVID-19 cases cross 31.9 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 31,985,353 in the United States of America after 54,040 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 6,851,904 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 24,557,158 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 576,291 with 453 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,958,141 and infected 137,240,920 globally until the filing of this news.
