Lumbini people have shown which faction they support: Pokharel



KATHMANDU: Standing Committee member of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli faction and Lumbini Province Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel has said that people of the province have shown which faction they support.

Addressing a mass assembly in Butwal on Saturday, Chief Minister Pokharel claimed that they showed their power after the Prachanda-Nepal group held a ‘corner meeting’ in Lumbini and challenged Prime Minister Oli.

Pokharel claimed that the people of Lumbini were in favor of development and stability.

He also thanked the people of Lumbini for their ‘huge’ presence.

He claimed that Prime Minister Oli had led development, prosperity, and national independence and that the people of Lumbini were in favor of Oli.

He said that Lumbini has been giving a message of development and unity to the nation.
