KATHMANDU: The westerly wind getting active has triggered chances of rains and snowfall in the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), light rain and snowfall are expected in high hilly and mountainous regions today afternoon and tonight.
Light rain and snowfall are forecast in various parts of the country until Monday night, according to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD at 6 am today.
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in some parts of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Lumbuni Pradesh and partly cloudy in the other hilly region and generally fair in the rest parts of the country.
Light rain and snowfall is expected in high hilly and mountainous regions of the country in the next 24 hours, according to the Division.
