52-yr-old murdered in Chandragiri; assailant held



KATHMANDU:  A 23-year-old person has struck a man to death with a spade in Chandragiri municipality in the capital.

The deceased has been identified as Hom Bahadur Sudhar, 52, of Chandragiri municipality-4, Thankot.

Critically injured Hom Bahadur who was rushed to Kalanki-based Shahid Memorial Hospital after rescue by police died in the course of treatment.

Ram Krishna Tamang, 23, of Chandragiri municipality, who had informed the police about the critical condition of Hom Bahadur, admitted to have killed Hom Bahadur by striking him with a spade over minor dispute during the police investigation.

Police said they have initiated an investigation into the case by filing a charge-sheet  against Tamang under the murder case.
