NC General Convention: First list of candidates published



KATHMANDU: The first list of candidates registered for the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has been published.

The Congress Central Election Committee has published the list of candidates for the post of president, office bearers and central members.

The nomination of candidates was registered on Saturday. The Election Committee on Sunday made public the first list of candidates through the party’s website.

The final list of candidates is scheduled to be published today.

Voting will begin at 8 a.m. Monday. The Nepali Congress has 4,743 delegates in the 14th General Convention that began Friday.
