KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota on Friday stressed the need for hard work in life to achieve success. Any job is great itself, so one should carry out his/her duty seriously, he underscored.

Speaker Sapkota said it during an event organized at Panauti Municipality-5 in Kavrepalanchowk by the SOS Children’s Village on the occasion of the 35th SOS International Day 2021 Friday.

Expressing his happiness over contributions of the SOS Children’s Village to produce hardworking and honored children, he asked its children to stick to their diligence.

On the occasion, he, as a federal parliament speaker pledged to play his part in making acts, laws and rules favorable for the rights of entire children.

SOS Children’s Village Director Surendra Amgain said that the Village is thankful for serving to children in the presence of the state. The SOS Children’s Village, Kavrepalanchowk has been taking care of a total of 1,601 children.
