Maoist Center holding CC meeting today

To dwell on nat'l convention



KATHMANDU: A central committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center) is taking place today.

According to Standing Committee member Girirajmani Pokharel, the meeting will be held virtually since most of the leaders are outside the Kathmandu Valley.

The CC meeting to be held at 6 pm will be focused on the upcoming national convention.

“The CC meeting will dwell on the preparation of the national convention. It will also hold discussions on the ward, village/municipal and district conventions,” said Pokharel.

The meeting will hold talks on the issue related to the renewal of the organized memberships. The deadline of membership renewal is expiring today.

The Maoist Center is planning to increase more than 700,000 organized memberships.
