Tiger kills 40-yr-old man in Bardiya

GULARIYA: A man has been killed in a tiger attack in Bardiya. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Janak Bahadur Tharu.

The wild beast had attacked Tharu while he was herding his buffaloes at Geruwa rural municipality-4 on Monday.

According to eyewitnesses, the tiger mauled him and took him away to a nearby jungle.

Tharu’s boy was found at Gor region of Geruwa rural municipality at 11 pm yesterday.
