NEPSE increases by 71.43 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 71.43 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2947.42 points.

A total of 17.10 million shares of 231 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 9.44 billion.
The share of the banking sector has increased by 24 points, Development Bank sector by 273 points, trade by 42 points, hydropower by 213 points, finance by 114 points and microfinance group by 113 points.

Similarly, shares of the life insurance group increased by 297 points, the non-life insurance group by 424 points, manufacturing by 299 points, and other groups by 18 points.

Shares of 10 companies have increased by 10 percent today. The highest turnover of Rs 720 million was recorded in Arun Valley Hydro Company.
