KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned till September 14 following main opposition CPN-UML’s obstruction.

Speaker Agni Sapkota had earlier adjourned the session due to obstruction by the UML lawmakers and had called the main opposition for meeting.

However, the meeting attended by UML Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai could not reach at consensus. The second sitting on Sunday could not be conducted as UML members shouted slogans against Speaker Sapkota for being bias.

Earlier, the House was postponed on Wednesday and Friday due to UML obstruction.
