KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress district leader Man Bahadur Mahato has passed away today morning. He was 74. He died at Kohalpur Medical College.
He was suffering from blood pressure. Mahato of Lamkichuha Municipality-9 in Kailali district involved in politics since the time of the Panchayat regime.
Also, the then Constituent Assembly member, Mahato contributed immensely to the establishment and restoration of democracy.
He is survived by his spouse, three sons, and three daughters. His last rites would be performed at the local Patharaiya river today itself, said NC regional president Bhakta Thapa. RSS
