CPN-UML holding PP meeting today

To dwell on its role in parliament



KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML is holding a parliamentary party (PP) meeting today.

The meeting convened at 12 noon will discuss how to make the ongoing protest in the parliament dignified and effective, informed UML Publicity Department Chief Yogesh Bhattarai.

UML has been disrupting saying that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has played a role in splitting the party.

UML lawmakers protested in the House of Representatives on Friday. A UML lawmaker has said they will keep disrupting the parliament until Speaker Sapkota admits his mistake. They are preparing to disrupt today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, too.

The HoR meeting has been called at 1 pm today.
