Nepal taking on Bangladesh in 2nd friendly football match today

KATHMANDU: The Nepali women’s football team is playing its second friendly match against Bangladesh today.

Earlier, Nepal defeated had Bangladesh 2-1 in the first match. Nepal remains unbeaten by Bangladesh so far.

The game will start at 5 pm at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. Ticket fees are fixed at Rs 200 and Rs 500 respectively.

The Bangladeshi team arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday to play a friendly match with Nepal.

Both teams are playing today’s match as part of preparations for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. In the match to be played in Uzbekistan, Nepal will compete with Hong Kong and Philippines in Group F. Similarly, Bangladesh is in Group G. Bangladesh has Jordan and Iran in the group.
