Nepal’s FIFA world ranking improves

KATHMANDU: Nepal has gained three positions in the latest FIFA ranking- stood 168th in the world footfall ranking released by FIFA on Thursday.

Nepal collected 972 points to gain 168th position.

In South Asia, India and the Maldives are ahead of Nepal in the ranking with 105th and 158th ranking, respectively.

Other South Asian teams Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan are in 187th, 188th, 198th and 205th positions, respectively.

Belgium is in the top of the ranking while Brazil and France remain in second and third positions.
