Lightning strikes kill two in Gulmi

GULMI: Two people have died after being struck by lightning in Gulmi district.

The deceased have been identified as Rahul Gandharba, 11, and Kamala Pratel, 28, of Ishma rural municipality, said DSP Purusottam Pandey of District Police Office (DPO), Gulmi.

They were struck to death while charging mobile sets on Wednesday night.

Similarly, Rahul’s father Ram Bahadur Gandharba, 42, Rupa Nepali, 25, and her nephew 11-year-old Kismat Nepali sustained injuries in the incident.
