NEPSE decreases by 45.06 points on Monday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 45.06 points after the Supreme Court (SC) reinstated the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2854.76 points.

A total of 26.02 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 9.98 billion.

Banking group decreased by 22 points, trade by 60 points, hotels, and tourism by 106 points, development banks by 97 points, hydropower by 60 points, finance by 21 points, non-life insurance by 240 points, manufacturing by 118 points, others by 31 points, microfinance by 72 points, life insurance by 254 points and investment group by 2 points.

Likewise, Samridhi Finance’s value has increased by 5 percent. The inflation of other companies remained below 3 percent. Prices of Union Hydropower, Khanikhola Hydropower, and Oriental Hotel shrunk by 5 percent.

Similarly, prices of Mahuli Community Microfinance, Shivshree Hydropower, Hydropower Investment, and Development Company, Himal Dolakha Hydropower and National Hydropower have declined by 4 percent.
