World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal loses to Australia 3-0



KATHMANDU: Nepal has lost to Australia 3-0 in its final match under the World Cup Qualifiers 2022 held in Kuwait.

Held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Friday night, Australia defeated 10-man Nepal by 3-0 goals.

Nepal had been limited to 10 players after Nepal’s Rohit Chand was given a red card in the 45th minute.

Australia scored two goals against Nepal in the first half and one goal in the second half.

With this win, unbeaten Australia entered the second stage of Wold Cup Qualifiers while Nepal lost its journey towards the World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023.
