Four arrested in alleged financial fraud in Parsa

PARSA: Police in Parsa have arrested four persons in connection with financial fraud.

Four persons, including Bikash Kumar, 27, a permanent resident of the Indian state of Bihar, and currently residing in Adarsanagar of Birgunj, were arrested near the Adarsanagar Buspark for their alleged involvement in the Hundi transaction.

Police have seized Rs 2.5 million from them. Likewise, police have also recovered Rs 57 thousand from a rented room of Kalamuddin Ansari, 18, in Adarshanagar.

Likewise, Guddu Kumar, 22, of Bihar, and Sahil Gupta, 18, of Bihar have also been arrested for the involvement in hundi transaction.

An investigation is being carried out against them on the basis of the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, 2073.
