Shankar Group and Infinity Holding donate 50 beds, medical supplies to Bir Hospital

KATHMANDU: Shankar Group and Infinity Holding have donated 50 beds, mattresses, 50 PPE sets, and 3,000 K-90 masks to the surgical block of Bir Hospital.

The block has now been converted into a dedicated Unified Command hospital for COVID-19 patients. The hospital was brought into operation only a few days ago with the necessary infrastructure.

The two organizations had committed to provide 150 beds, PPE, and other materials for the hospital.

As per the same commitment, 50 beds have been handed over immediately. “In the current pandemic, carrying the social responsibility, we have jointly provided the necessary materials,” said the Shankar group.

Both the groups have also provided the bedding, pillow, and other necessary materials.
