Janamorcha expels Thapa from the post of PP leader

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janamorcha has expelled its Gandaki Pradesh parliamentary party (PP) leader Krishna Thapa.

Party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC said that Thapa has already been informed about his expulsion from the party leadership.

According to Chairman KC, the party expelled Thapa since he violated the party’s decision to support the Nepali Congress-led opposition alliance to form a new government in Gandaki Province.

Earlier, the party had asked Thapa for clarification for not signing in for the formation of a government under NC.

According to party sources, Janamorcha has asked its province lawmakers to sign to support the NC-led government.
