COVID-19: India records new 348,529 infections, 4,200 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 348,529 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 23,340,456.

Currently, 3,709,557 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 19,376,674 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 254,200-mark.

With 4,200 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 254,225, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,330,291 and infected 160,302,912 globally until the filing of this news.
