NC CWC meet rescheduled for April 18



KATHMANDU: The meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee (CWC) that was slated to take place Monday (today) has been rescheduled for April 18.

Issuing a press release on Monday, the party has informed that the CWC meeting will be held on April 18.

The meeting called at 2 pm today was postponed to mourn the death of NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel’s half-brother Govinda Raj Poudel, who passed away at the age of 75 in Chitwan Monday.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed deepest condolences to senior leader Poudel on the passing of his brother.

The party has mentioned that late Poudel had played active roles in democratic movements of the country.
