Couple die of electric shock in Hetauda



MAKWANPUR: Two people have died due to electric shock in Hetauda of Makwanpur district.

The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Samir Pakhrin and his wife Ansu Pakhrin, 30, of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-9, Cement Road, said District Police Office, Makwanpur.

Critically injured Samir and Ansu died while being rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment, informed DSP Jayashwar Rimal.

According to police, they were electrocuted to death while they were managing saggy cables with an iron pipe hanging from a transmission line connected to the meter box of their house.

The couple is survived by a son and a daughter.
