CK Raut unanimously elected Janamat Party Chairman



KATHMANDU: CK Raut has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Janamat Party.

He has received a total of 2,302 votes in the party’s General Convention that began Saturday.

Elections were held for all the posts except the Chairperson and the Secretary-General. The election results came out on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, Abdul Khan and Basanta Kusawa have been elected as Vice-Chairmen.

Similarly, Chandan Singh has been elected unopposed as the party’s General Secretary. He received 1,573 votes.

The party’s Central Working Committee has 25 members as of now.
