COVID-19: Nepal records 48 new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: A total of 48 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry for Health and Population, as many as 61 persons have recovered from the respiratory contagion as of Friday.

With this, the number of total COVID recoveries has reached 271,177.

Likewise, active cases of the virus stands at 929 across the country.

According to the MoHP, Nepal has conducted 2,210,434 PCR tests as of Friday afternoon and no death related to the infection has been recorded in the country in the past 24 hours.
