KATHMANDU: Prior to the office bearers’ meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) scheduled for 3 PM today, the Ram Chandra Poudel-led faction of the party held a meeting at General Secretary Dr. Shashank Koirala’s residence in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
NC leaders including senior leader Poudel, General Secretary Dr. Koirala, former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh were present in the meeting.
According to sources, the faction’s meeting worked out on the agenda to be raised in the officer-bearers’ meeting later today.
Keeping in view that the unconstitutional activities of Prime Minister KP Oli, the meeting has concluded that the NC should come hard on the incumbent government.
NC has already urged the government to withdraw some ordinances including the one relating to the Constitutional Council saying that they are against the spirit of the constitution.
