Kathmandu Valley sees 59 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 59 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 44 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, three in Bhaktapur, and 12 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 127 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 272,557 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,707 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 136 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 268,796 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Likewise, two more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,054.
